Cafe au Lait

Cafe au Lait is a breastfeeding circle for women of color in New Orleans. Our mission is to improve breastfeeding outcomes by providing a culturally appropriate space to gather and provide peer support. Our goal is to educate, empower and embrace pregnant and breastfeeding women of color in our community. Our circles are held four times a month.

Cafe au Lait is provided in partnership with Nurse Nikki NP, Birthmark Doula Collective. Our hosting location partners are NOPL, Crescent City Farmers Market , and the WePlay! Center at Training Grounds.  Cafe au Lait is financially supported by Groundswell Birth Justice Fund and ROSE.
